Starter Toons: Choose between Boxten and Poppy when you first start. The other must be purchased with Ichor from Dandy's Store. Most Regular Toons have prerequisites that must be fulfilled before purchase, such as reaching certain Research levels on their Twisted counterpart.
Shrimpo Exception: Shrimpo is a challenge character with only 5 stars total (1 star per stat) instead of the standard 15 stars.

Unlock Requirements: Main Characters are harder to acquire. You must complete 100% Research on their Twisted counterpart, achieve full Mastery, and spend more Ichor. They have a rainbow border on their icon and an extra stat star.
